Essay Topics (Choose One)

Applicants must submit a thoughtfully prepared essay on one of the following topics:

  1. Which high school or college class has had the greatest impact on your life, and why?
  2. Describe a time when you had a mentor. What positive influence did they have on you at the time, and how has that experience shaped you moving forward?
  3. Tell us about a time when an idea or belief you held was challenged or changed.
  4. Envision three parallel versions of yourself based on paths not taken (past or future—your choice, such as a different hometown, career, or relationships). What wisdom would you take from each version to guide your life today?
  5. Identify a societal “rule” that is widely accepted but rarely questioned. Explain why you would challenge it and propose an alternative that could reshape how we live.
  6. How have you adapted to the emerging world of Artificial Intelligence, and what are your thoughts on its impact?
